比特币跌破8.3万:Bitget被盗和伊朗局势只是"背锅侠"?BTC Slips Below $83K: Was the Bitget Hack Really the Trigger?

2026-09-28
BTC fell below $83K — but the drop started before the Bitget hack news, even as ETFs keep seeing inflows

Monday's market brief pinned bitcoin's drop below $83,000 on two shocks: a $388 million hack at Bitget and the standoff over Iran. But buried in that same brief is a detail worth noticing — the decline had already started before the Bitget news broke. The hack looks more like a label slapped on a move already underway than the actual trigger.

The macro backdrop is genuinely tense, though. Trump rejected an Iranian proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran's foreign minister said Tehran is ready for a "doomsday" war while still leaving the door open to diplomacy. Chinese-speaking crypto audiences are clearly tracking this: two related videos on a Mandarin-language crypto channel saw view velocity spike 2.6 standard deviations above normal — one covering the Bitget hack fallout, another asking where to buy the dip.

Yet sentiment hasn't cracked. The Fear & Greed Index sits at 74, still mid-Greed, nowhere near panic. And there's a real divergence worth watching: BTC spot ETFs have logged seven straight days of net inflows, with $134 million flowing in on the latest day (Sep 25) — institutional money keeps trickling in even as price slides.

OpenClue downgraded its BTC stance from bullish to cautiously bullish back on Sep 24, and has since been watching whether open interest (total outstanding leveraged contracts) falls in step with price to tell real selling apart from leverage unwinding. For this Sep 28 drop, there's no clear OI reading yet to compare against the Sep 10 and Sep 24 episodes — the question stays open.
